The Bengalese Finch or Society Finch as its known in parts of the World is a popular cage bird not found in the wild. Bengalese Finches are well adapted to captivity and the company of humans. They are a hardy breed that will live happily in outdoor aviaries or indoors. They breed well and are great aviary companions for other species of Finch. they shouldn't be kept singly. They will generally live on a diet of millet and canary seed with the addition of greens. Colours will vary and range from white to brown.
