A Budgie is a small, long-tailed Australian parrot, also known as a Budgerigar. They are popular pets due to their friendly nature, ability to mimic sounds, and diverse colour variation. These birds are very popular birds for beginners as they are small, easy to care for and very friendly. Budgies are highly social birds and benefit from having a companion. Pairs of budgies are generally happier and can better fufill their social needs than single budgies. These birds are relatively small, with an average length of 7.5 inches and can live roughly 5-8 years but sometimes more.
At Widmer feeds, when coming in for your Budgie(s), one of our staff will go through everything you need in order to house them and explain how to correctly care for one. this including their diet, handling, health .etc.
Our birds don't like going in the post so you must collect them in store.
