Canaries are small, vibrant songbirds known for their bright colours and melodious singing. These birds are ideal as they easily adapt well to indoor living and can thrive in a spacious cage or aviary. They are relatively low-maintenance, clean, and known for their beautiful songs, but they generally do not enjoy being handled however are still very interactive with their human companions. They are relatively small, measuring around 4 to 6 inches in length, have a distinctive finch-like shape with a rounded head and a short beak and can live between 7 - 15 years.
At Widmer feeds, when coming in for your Canary, one of our staff will go through everything you need in order to house them and explain how to correctly care for one. this including their diet, handling, health .etc.
Our birds don't like going in the post so you must collect them in store.

Local Van Delivery. If you live within a 15 mile radius of the store we offer a free van delivery service on orders over £65. This service is completely contactless and we aim to have your order with you in 2-3 working days. Perfect for bulky feed or bedding deliveries.

Free click and collect service. Your order will be ready for you to collect within two hours of your order being placed. Simply bring your order confirmation in to store and we will have your items waiting for you. Great if you want a quick trip out.
