BBF chicken, also known as Bluebell or Blue Ranger, is a hybrid chicken breed known for its unique blue-grey coloring and brown eggs. This hybrid breed is a cross between Rhode Island Red and various Maran Coucou.
These chickens are popular not only for their beautiful appearance , exhibiting a variety of blue-grey feathers ranging from violet to dark steel grey, but also for their good egg production and friendly nature.
They lay approximately 260-280 brown eggs per year
Health Status and Traceability
All our birds come from registered, vaccinated parent flocks which are regularly tested for salmonella stereotypes with public heath significance in accordance with regulation (EC) No. 2160/2003
As chicks they are double vaccinated for Mareks disease MKR+HVR, plus Nobilis IB Ma5 for protection against Infectious Bronchitis.
