The Medicis chicken is a hybrid that is predominantly black, with some silvery-white lacing/ markings often around the neck and hackles. They are known for their docile and gentle nature, making them well-suited for backyard flocks.
Medicis will lay between 260-280 beautiful brown eggs per year.
Health Status and Traceability
All our birds come from registered, vaccinated parent flocks which are regularly tested for salmonella stereotypes with public heath significance in accordance with regulation (EC) No. 2160/2003
As chicks they are double vaccinated for Mareks disease MKR+HVR, plus Nobilis IB Ma5 for protection against Infectious Bronchitis.
