Chickens: Polish Bantam
Polish bantam chickens are miniature versions of the classic European breed, famous for their extravagant "top hat" crest of feathers. They have a prominent, fluffy crest, cavernous nostrils, and a small V-shaped comb. They come in many beautiful color varieties, including White-Crested Black, Buff Laced, and Golden Laced. Known for their docile and gentle nature, making them well-suited for backyard flocks.
They are moderate layers, producing around 100 to 180 small white eggs per year depending on the specific bloodline.
Health Status and Traceability
All our birds come from registered, vaccinated parent flocks which are regularly tested for salmonella stereotypes with public heath significance in accordance with regulation (EC) No. 2160/2003
As chicks they are double vaccinated for Mareks disease MKR+HVR, plus Nobilis IB Ma5 for protection against Infectious Bronchitis.
