Rabbits/ Bunnies are small, furry mammals characterized by their long ears, short fluffy tails, and powerful hind legs adapted for hopping. They can have a variety of sizes, coat colors, fur lengths and textures. They can vary between 2 and 16 pounds. Rabbits can be wonderful pets for the right owners, but they require a significant commitment and understanding of their needs. While they are intelligent and social animals, they also require specific care and attention, including appropriate housing, correct diet, exercise, and social interaction. Unless instructed by a professional (such as a vet), rabbits are social and typically thrive alongside a companion. Rabbits can be extremely rewarding to own due to their intelligence, affection and ability to form strong bonds with their owner. Their lifespan can vary with breed however can vary from 3 - 10 years.
At Widmer feeds, when coming in for your Rabbit(s), one of our staff will go through everything you need in order to house them and explain how to correctly care for one. this including their diet, handling, health .etc.
